charted physiotherapist won’t touch patient was created by kah22
As I mentioned in an earlier post I’m helping my nephew fill in a pip form. The disabilities he has can be traced back to when he suffered a broken neck as a 7 year old
Fast forward to now. His broken neck has brought on other conditions such as arthritis. In an attempt to see whether a physiotherapist could help he went to a charted physiotherapist when she took a case history, looked at x-ray etc she said she couldn’t touch him because it would be to dangerous
I’m wondering how to put that across. Is it treatment that he needs but can’t get because of the danger attached. We can get a report from the charted physiotherapist is there anything in particular we should ask her to put in a report.

You can say that you have investigated the possibility of physiotherapy to possibly improve your nephew's condition, but he can't have it because of the dangers. (The physiotherapist's letter can confirm the exact current state and any other medical evidence you have). Quote from the letters in the course of writing the evidence as well as attaching the evidence at the end.
Can't really comment on the content of the letter - only to say that if the physiotherapist thinks the condition if life-long it would be helpful for them to say so,.
