You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is;
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum If you applied for Contribution based ESA in November last year then you would be on New Style ESA.
New style ESA and Contribution based ESA are both the same, they are contributory benefits, NS ESA goes with UC and CB ESA goes with IR ESA.
If you look at the last page on your award letter it should tell you which one you are getting.
