Pension & claim for IIDB was created by stuart
HI , hope you can help , i am now 68 yrs old , was collecting IIDBenefit for A11 , but when i turned 65 , i was put onto Reduced Earnings Allowance , which was literally a 50% reduction , the point is , that when the original award was given , on the paperwork it stated " For Life " signed by a judge, is that correct ? many thanks.

This is not an area of benefits that we deal with so the information we can provide is limited, my recommendation is that you seek advice a Welfare Rights office.
As far as I can see your IIDB will not have affected your State Pension but I cannot find any statement to the reverse, although the fact that both appear to be payable at the same time may indicate this.
In a similar vein I cannot find anything that states that REA replaces IIDB when a claimant reaches State Retirement Age. REA is a separate benefit that can be paid on its own or in conjunction with IIDB.
My may concern is that you appear not have challenged the reduction in income in the three years since it happens and are now well outside the normal limits to do so.
As I say, try and get advice.
