Hello

I claim PIP manily due to severe Anxiety, Depression, Bi Polar and Alcohol abuse
Out of the blue I got 6 days notice informing me I have a telephone assessment on 7th march

1. They have my old moblie number ( which is obsolete)
2 in my last PIP paper assessementfor I specifically said I DO NOT wish to be called to discuss any of my health problems by phone !!
3 Can I request a Paper or face to face assessement ?
4 What comeback/rights do I have in refusing a telephone assessement ?

You can request a paper based review or a face to face one but the Assessment Provider is under no obligation to provide either, you can also contact the DWP and if still refused, your MP.

You can cancel one appointment but failing to attend or participate in a second will result in your file being returned to the DWP with the possibility of your claim being closed so you need to be proactive in managing this situation.
