Hi I’m not sure I can even post here but I really do not know where to get help about this.
I have just had my financial assessment outcome letter back from the social services who have stated I need to pay £100 a week towards my care package now where I have never had to contribute anything since I started getting support 15 years ago.
I do not know what to do what to write when appealing as I cannot afford this and will need to stop the carers I so desparatky need
Can anyone please help me

Hi Stephenson

I'm really sorry, but your question is outside the scope of this forum, and we don't deal with social care issues. You will need to go back to the people at the council to query this sudden increase and see if anyone can help you appeal this.
