My son is 19, he is no longer able to stay on my claim for UC. And because he was put in as part of my claim for UC, he can't make a claim of his own. Because of his special needs and problems with formal education, he is studying for a diploma online (proper accredited course). Its full time but his hours are flexible.
But I am going to have over £800 a month taken off my UC. Won't be able to survive I don't think. Looking at bills, what I can cut back on but already cut things to the bone.
You need to seek specialist advice from your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk where they can take all your circumstances into consideration and your sons when giving you advice.
