Hi David
Submitted my complaint to the District Manager and a seperate one to the work coach.
District manager has not replied yet but a different work coach has now replied with the message below.
Any ideas on how to proceed as I'm running out of time now?
Hi Davey,
When you made your claim to UC on the 12/04/25 you requested for someone to get in touch with you to discuss making arrangements to have your identity verified.
An appointment was booked for you on the 18/04/25, you were notified of this in your journal on the 15 Apr 2025 at 14:08pm.
Please note that identification is never verified over the phone, in exceptional circumstances if you are unable to attend the jobcentre due to health conditions the only alternative would be to arrange a home visit.
You were advised in your journal on the 18/04/25 at 2.29pm that the notification about a phone call is in regards to us arranging a face to face appointment for you. Can you please consider a suitable date and time for us to arrange an appointment for you, failing to do this by the 09/05/25 may result in claim closure.
Kind Regards,
Robert

Hi Davey
I would wait until next week for the reply from the District Manager before responding to the Work Coach.

Hi Davey
I would also send Robert a reply today stating that claim closure is not allowed under the Enhanced Support Journey for ESA customers. I would ask him to supply you with the rules from the DWP intranet regarding Enhanced Support.
