I’ve read the guide and completed the form following my migration notice. I provided details of my driving licence NI number and passport number, but I’ve been asked to attend the job centre to confirm my identity. While I have no problem with that in principle, I’m worried that it’s to try and remove me from the support group. I appreciate that they’re not supposed to do that, but following my initial WCA (done by a doctor at DWP premises years ago), she immediately signed me off for several years for my lung problems, I since had a stroke, and applied for PIP which I receive, though had to appeal (successfully) the daily living component. It’s left me worried about face to face appointments.
No the Work Coach will not be reporting back to HAAS regarding your health and apparent ability to look for work. This just does not happen. So don't worry on that account about attending the Jobcentre.
