UC ID proof was created by TBA
I've submitted my ESA->UC
But I'm stuck on proving my ID.
I have a passport.
But not a second, I think.
In your guide, it says a P60 will do, but they don't ask for one??
I have a BT landline bill, will this do?
I've got Bank statements, any good?
They say they are going to phone me in a few days. I don't answer the phone, and hardly ever have it on, plus no voicemail. Finally, I don't want to talk to them.
There was something I might have to go and see them, no, this was not really a goer before, but my health has declined recently, and so it's not really on.
I'm in the support group.
Thanks.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi TBA
If you do not prove your ID your claim for UC will be struck out and if you are eligible for transitional protection you will loose that, so it is important that you verify your identity: www.gov.uk/guidance/how-to-verify-your-i...for-universal-credit

Hi TBA
Unfortunately a P60 is no longer an option as a form of ID so the guide is out of date now.
However, please do not worry! I was in the exact same position as yourself. The telephone call I received, I believe it is known as a Biographical Test, is a simple 5 minute telephone call to verify your ID.
You will be asked three questions that only you know the answer to, e.g. What benefits do you receive?
I have posted on here in more detail about my own personal Biographical telephone call. There is quite a lot of information on the forum about this if you are able to search? Use the Magnifying glass at top right hand corner and try searching for Biographical Test.
Honestly it's a short, simple call just to verify your ID, no other questions and is nothing to worry about at all.
Good Luck
