how to work out how much your i/r esa is and how much your c/b esa is ?

hi mods, i have been reading up on your guides ready for when i get my letter to migrate to u/c. i think i am on both income related and earnings related and i note that the e/r esa is deducted pound for pound of my u/c claim. how do i know how much i get paid on my esa is income related and how much is earnings related will it be on any annual letter from dwp , i am trying to work out how much they will deduct when i make my claim. many thanks .

You should have received a letter from DWP in February informing you of the benefit increase.

Usually when claimants receive both CB ESA and IR ESA the IR ESA will be the disability premiums such as SDP and EDP.

CB ESA is usually just made up of the basic £92.05 + Support component £48.50 = £140.55pw.

Remember ESA is paid fortnightly, whereas UC is paid monthly, as you rightly stated NS/CB ESA will be deducted £ for £ from your UC allowance.
