I am preparing for my PIP Tribunal -CFS, anxiety, depression. I have 10 years sobriety and although touched upon in my evidence it is not a condition I am primarily claiming for - however - my attendance at AA meetings is a crucial element of coping with my social engagement - or lack of. Would this be relavant with regard to engaging with other people?
I can't tell you what to do here. Only you can decide what's relevant. Tribunal panels are usually more sympathetic than the average health professional who carried out your assessment. I would hope they understand that even if you attend AA meetings, that doesn't necessarily mean you can engage socially with other people.
