My daughter is migrating from ESA to UC. We are having problems with the 'Money, Savings and Investments' section.
We are unsure what to do about direct payments from the Local Authority when filling in the form.
We have read they should not be included as an account (as technically this is not her money).
However, we are uncertain whether we should tick the box for 'Welfare support payments' which
'Includes support grants or loans, seasonal support, help with funeral expenses and payments from your local council'.
It is not clear if this intends to cover direct payments for support services.
Does anyone have experience of this or know the answer?
