Good morning, I applied for my son as his appointee for pip (he’s been on dla since he was around 4 now he’s 16) at the beginning of August I requested a paper based assessment and sent in lots of medical reports etc, I received a text back in August from haas to say application received but have heard nothing since, is this usual? I was wondering how long the process is currently taking and if anyone else who may have requested a paper based assessment were successful? Thank you
It varies across regions, there is a bit of a backlog although DWP has recently stated that they are catching up with the backlog now ESA claimants have been contacted.
