PIP application and GP was created by Zinny

When applying for PIP DWP contacts GP.Two questions.
1. When do they do this - is it when you start claim?
2.What questions do they ask GP?
Our GP not good so may need to discuss with GP before claiming.

Hi Zinny

DWP do not always contact Dr's

They contact Dr's when they need to clarify information that is sent in to them such as condition, medication.

Questions asked would vary from case to case depending on what they want clarifying at the time.
