It is generally expected with the light-touch review that a paper-based assessment will be done by the DWP especially if there has been no change in the claimant's condition. However, depending on what a claimant writes on their form, if there were any substantial changes in their condition, it is possible that someone might make telephone contact for extra information about the changes or say if a 'telephone assessment' was necessary.
