I currently get new style ESA in support group.

Please can someone tell me if I can just claim for the housing benefit component of UC?

Or will I have to claim for the whole thing?

I don't want to open up a can of worms for myself.

Hi Bluesysue

Unfortunately you have to apply for UC to claim the housing element.

Contact you local welfare rights organisation for help in applying for UC: advicelocal.uk
