I have received a letter today from DWP requesting more information within 7 days and if I can send them my birth certificate and if not advise them of: DOB,where you were born, your full name, your fathers full name, your mothers full name when you were born and any other names your mother has used.
I shall send the information without my birth certificate as I am very worried it could get detached and lost even if sent for signature on receipt. Have you ever heard of this before ? and take a guess as to why they need it?
