Hi laneif2,
Phone up for a copy of your assessment report (PA4) a couple of days after the assessment takes place. This may arrive before an actual decision is made. This means there is a small window of opportunity to complain about the content of the report to attempt to divert DWP from relying on an incorrect report. (Write in and explain what's wrong, but make it clear that you haven't received a decision, but simply want to clarify inaccuracies.) Occasionally DWP do think again and don't rely on the report.
Sometimes by the time you get the report the decision is already made. In that case you can make an early start on preparing a mandatory reconsideration letter if you need to, if you already have the report.
I hope this helps.
