Hi Robm
Can you be more specific? What did you score for those two questions? What did you hope to score? Without giving any personal details, what did you feel the assessor/DWP ignored or got wrong in what you have already told them? It's hard to advise on how you might strengthen what you have said without knowing a bit of the backstory.

Apologies for being a tad vague yes I’m appealing a decision in relation to meeting people face and engaging with people in social situations I suffer from pstd severe depression and anxiety and incontinence I live alone I tend to steer clear of people as I get bad panic attacks and laterally been diagnosed with Ménière’s disease so as you can imagine I don’t go to far

Won appeal lucky if was in the court 10 mins as I said was in relation to meeting people face to face and social situations now had a pip phone assessment late 2025 was told I can now challenge that award as it was only for standard care before I had enhanced for care and standard for mobility and nothing for social interactions and meeting people as I suffer pstd do I make a claim for change of circumstances or do I ask for a mandatory reconsideration ?

Hi Robm
Congratulations on winning your appeal. I'm slightly puzzled here - What period of time does the appeal cover and what award did they suggest and for which parts?
I'm puzzled as to why you would need to submit a change of circumstance or a mandatory reconsideration. I assumed your appeal covered your last PIP review and would therefore result in your return to enhanced care and standard mobility.
Perhaps I'm being dense, but I can't say which you should do without knowing exactly what the tribunal said.

The judge has awarded me back payment from January 2019 till October 2021 it’s in regards to the leap review needs prompting meeting people interacting with people now this where I’m confused also as I’ve had two reviews since 2021 why hasn’t the judge not backdated my award from 2019 to current had a phone assessment back in November but only got standard for care however up till 2019 I got enhanced for care and standard for mobility so didn’t want to put in a mandatory reconsideration for November assessment as I had my appeal going on with the leap review but was told to put a mandatory reconsideration in for Novembers assessment after winning appeal as I spoke to someone from the dwp after my hearing
