My application for my son's DLA was refused yesterday, following an MR where I sent fresh evidence that clearly stated he can't walk for more than 2 minutes, because of severe pain. I also gave evidence that said he wakes most nights in pain, needs help getting to/from the toilet, etc. They still refused it.
I'm so shocked and angry. It seems to me that they never even bothered reading through the application or the evidence.
I spoke to someone yesterday who told me that if I send further evidence within one month of the decision of the MR, they can look at it again.
Has anyone ever done this? Were they successful or did they just give the exact same decision?
