Good Morning

I am in the Assessment phase for Contribution based ESA
i now have a phone appointment/assessment with a DWP healthcare professional later this week..
Has anyone had one of these recently and if so, what can i expect?
I am a bit nervous, as i have issues with brain fog, memiry, finding words, exhaustion etc
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Hopefully, a member may be able to tell you about their recent experience.

If you look at the Guide - Best Possible ESA and UC Claims: a guide to the work capability assessment. (for claims prior to 6 April 2026) you will find the types of questions you could be asked on page 146 benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/esa
