Hi Saffro5

If you look at the information on pages 90 to 95 of the Guide to PIP Claims and Reviews, it gives an explanation on how to answer this question and some sample answers. Which box you tick will depend in part on how your pain affects your mobility.

You say that you are in constant pain - so if you have pain that is present before you even start walking and it increases as you try to walk - you may want to tick 2e.

If you pain is manageable but increases after you have walked a number of metres you may want to tick one of the others.

You say that walk very slowly in which case there's a chance that you walk twice as slowly as someone who doesn't have the same condition and therefore you cannot be said to walk to a suitable standard. Again that probably means that you would tick 2e even if you can physically walk further than 20 metres. (The explanation is in those pages and you are looking at the reliability criteria)

I can't tell you which one to tick because I don't know your circumstances. Do read through the explanation and see which one you think most applies to your situation.
