Since leaving college clmt has been hoping and trying to get an apprenticeship in tech. unsuccessful so far
So relative put him fwd for a piece of work to test his capabilities and the client was happy to pay for the work. Its not regular and very unpredictable. Gave him a boost in confidence tbh especially after so may dead-ends.
But ofc since becoming aware of his progress i want to make sure DWP are aware of any other adhoc income. And we are square with payments/deductions etc
He has LWCRA - all work is IT and he doesn't leave the house/ his room most days. sleeps when not on his devices.
what are the rules and thresholds that apply in this circ? will his LCWRA be impacted ?
Can you please give us some more details such as who is the employer....is there an official contract of employment or is it agreed to be on a self-employed basis ....is there a training element in the relationship?
