Pip review

Hi, I thought I would share how my recent pip review went and how fast it was. I received a text to say that my pip review had started on the 2nd of March. It took over a week to receive my form through the post and due to the form having to be sent back by 1st of April, it made me feel rather rushed. I did my best to fill it in and sent off with two weeks allowing for the time to return.

Another text on the 30th of March to say they had received my completed form. Great, just within time limit.

I always find, like most other people, I get very stressed out going through the process. I was mentally preparing myself for an assessment and waiting for a text or letter with the details. Instead I got a text through on the 27th of April to say the review was complete! My heart sank as I thought it had been rejected. Instead I got a letter on the 2nd of May to say my award was remaining the same and was for 6 years! The report acknowledged that my health had declined but they couldn't give me a different award. To be honest I was happy with it anyway so wouldn't want to challenge it.
