Appeal on mental health grounds was created by RachelPotter
Hi, sorry for asking for more help, but this is beginning to take over my life and I am getting ever more anxious. I did not score any points for physical problems despite having MS. I scored 6 points for mental health. Most of the people writing on this forum have so much more problems than me physically and I really feel for them.
Is there anyone who could help me with the mental health side of the medical? Because I came across as 'normal' at the ATOS medical, I was only awarded 6 points.
Any help, advice would be very much appreciated.
The appeal, I was told, will be after 20th Jan. I have read all the notes on this site, (which are fantastic), and I am off to the CAB on Friday.
Many thanks,
Rachel

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Rachel,
I don't think it's something that anyone on the forum could help you with, you need to decide for yourself which descriptors you think apply to you. Either that, or talk to someone who knows you well and see which ones they suggest.
But you're already doing the right things: you're using the guides and you're getting help from an advice agency.
Good luck with the appeal,
Steve
