Regarding pre 1995s. After the migration process has taken place, I know it's looking very much like those of us in this group will lose our no tax status & private pension disregard. However the DWP have stated that no one will be worse off & if they are successfully transferred will remain on the same level of IB albeit frozen. Surely they can't then remove our existing protection because we'll then be considerably worse off.

I am afraid the "guarantee" does not extend to tax exemption.

Whether you actually pay tax on your ESA(CB), will be dependant on what other income, if any, that you receive.
