You are not alone many of us are finding ourselves in similar circumstances, being found fit for work is not a guarantee of actually getting a job and a decent well paid one at that.
I was victimised out of a job almost 12 years ago and my health problems were a lot milder then than they are now.
I'm trying not to worry to much about it for the time being, I know I am going to get re-assessed and will probably at best make the ESA Work Related Activity Group, but am prepared for the worst case scenario of going straight onto Job Seekers Allowance.
In a positive way I am thinking that if I do try and find work and don't succeed it should demonstrate just how futile the tasks is and how cynical these welfare reforms really are, I also know I don't qualify for means tested benefits because of my financial situation, so I will be hit hard financially too.
They are encouraging people to save for retirement, but they fail to mention that you will be hit hard financially if your health deteriorates.
