DLA Advise please

Hi all
I am currently getting DLA, High rate mobility and low rate care, however my condition has deteriorated and have been diagnosed (December)with having advanced knee osteoarthritis in both knees, Grade IV. I had an anthroscopy in right knee in Jan - no difference - as virtually no cartidge to work with. I have been told I need two knee replacements but as I am 36 they are not prepared to do this yet!! My care need have increased due to this and wondered should I ask the DLA to re-look at the care component of my claim. I understand I run the risk of having the whole claim looked at again but just wanted some advise. Thanks in advance.

It is, of course, entirely your decision whether or not to ask for you case to be looked at again - it sounds as if you have a good idea of the potential pitfalls.
