GL24 Written Acknowledgement from DWP

Hi

2 weeks ago i sent my GL24 Back appealing against the decision to put me in the WRAG rather than the support group, Question: will the DWP send me a written Acknowledgement of recieving the appeal form which i haven't received anything yet? or will i have to keep pestering them with phone calls and letters to hopefully get this acknowledgement

P.S The two TV documentories on Monday 30th July was shocking absolutly!! my wife just could not believe how harsh these people if you want to call them that are being!! and knows now more what a fight we have on our hands to get into the support group, but at least we have this great site and i have managed to get the representation and backing of my local Welfare rights people!!

You should receive written confirmation that your appeal has been received. However, the system is overwhelmed at the momentan things are not always happening as they should. It would be worth chasing this up by phone if you do not hear soon, I think.
