WRAG or Support group

Just a quick question guys. I have recently been transferred for IB to ESA and have been put into the WRAG group (without a medical) I believe I should be in the support group given the evidence I put it. The question being will I ask them to reconsider their decision highlighting why in a letter or take to to appeal?

This question comes up very often (it should have shown up on a forum search). If you appeal a mandatory reconsideration will be carried out, so there doesn't seem any point in asking for a recon first rather than going directly to appeal.
