asset rule for ESA(CB)?

asset rule for ESA(CB)? was created by darryl
is the figure of 16,000 pounds applicable to ESA(CB) the same as for ESA(IR) please? regarding household income/savings/pension. i could only find this figure for the income related ESA in the guide.

Contributary ESA depends upon previous NI contributions*, income and assets are not taken into account.

*People who were on IB would have paid NI contributions at some stage in the past and have been transferred to contributary ESA. They would not qualify for any other contributary benefits as no actual contributions have been made since they started on IB.
