Does anyone know how long you have to wait once you send your form back to Atos i sent mine back on 12/4/13,i have been on IB for 19yrs due to my bowel disease and arthritis,even though i have a lot of incontinence at least once a week, i am expecting to be found fit for work as atos dont seem to care as long as they get you off the benefit

How long is a piece of string? After the ESA50 has been sent, it can take anything from a few weeks to a few months. In my own case, it took 5 months for me to get an appointment for a face-to-face assessment.

How long until they make a decision?

We do have members who have been put straight into the Support Group without a medical, so don't give up hope!
