Copy of origina DLA application form

Hi There,

I was awarded a lifetime award of DLA 20 years ago and now need a copy of my original DLA application form. Do you know if the benefits people keep them this long and will they let me have a copy?

The good news is that you are entitled to a copy of everything in your DLA file. The bad news is that DWP rarely keep things for more than 14 months, so I think it highly unlikely that they would still have anything relating to an application made 20 years ago.
