Hi cv,
Does the letter stipulate that you are being investigated for fraud, or is it an interview with The Compliance Team/Officer.
The DWP do currently have a campaign going in certain areas regarding overpayments/error/fraud :

You are entitled to know why the interview is taking place, and whether the interview is to be carried out under caution.
If it is an interview under caution, you need to gain the support of a WRO or a suitable solicitor to accompany you.
It may just be a routine random compliance interview, or it could be as the result of a malicious phone call/letter/e-mail.

It is an under caution letter, I have no idea why , will they tell me what I have supposed to have done if I ring as letter states to ring them which ive done and also there is a reply letter to fill in and send it back signed, I am terrified I have not done anything wrong, and I doubt that I have enough time to get help from WRO or CAB, and in my area they are all inundated trying to sort out ESA claims.
Please tell me what I can do with not much time to do it.

Hi cv,
I would not sign anything unless you are sure that it will not adversely prejudice you case.
As far as I am aware, and I'm no expert on Interviews Under Caution (IUC) you do have a right to have a legal representative present.
DWP Fraud Investigators have to follow similar guidelines to that of the Police when they interview one under caution.
I would insist on knowing why they wish to IUC you, before hand, and do make sure that they have the right person, in that it is you that they suspect of fraud.
If you can't manage to gain the support of an experienced WRO, a solicitor will do.
