My question is does anyone very complain about them ,is there any point, is it too much aggravation to do so and will it effect my claim ?

Many thanks

It's up to you whether you should complain or not, feedback from the forum suggests that many complaints don't result in the answers that the member was looking for, but conversely, if we don't complain there is no chance that the Assessment Providers will improve the service that they offer.

Any complaint that you make would be separate from your benefit claim, the only area where thy could interact would be if the complaint results in the assessment report being withdrawn due to it's quality but this would not seem likely with your description of the issues.

Received a letter today saying they had now recieved all the information and 'it's taken longer than expected to give you a decision but we will contact you soon'

Is this standard and would there be any reason for it taking so long ?

I had my home visit over 3 weeks ago now

Many thanks

Hi H,

Yes, these letters have been received by many members, as the PIP assessment/decision making process has slowed down since New Year !

Replied by Mossy on topic DLA to PIP I that it !!!
Brown envelope arrived today and I get enhanced rate for the car & Standard rate daily living , which I thought I should have scored more on but I'm not going to question it as it's not worth risking the whole lot !

12 points for mobility
9 points for daily living

And it's until 2022
