Would this help my claim or should I leave mentioning it ? So much to put down and consider my mind is swimming

Many thanks

It really depends on why you are receiving ESA and does that correspond to a PIP activity or not, also, when was the ESA award made, the older it is the less weight it will carry in regard your PIP claim.

I've been on IB for the same amount of time I've been on DLA about 12 years and then was transferred on to ESA about 2 years ago , so the ESA claim is for the same conditions as the PIP claim .

My only concern is that the qualifiers for ESA are different to PIP - I'm totally confused !

It certainly won't harm your case to mention the ESA decision.
The descriptors are different but the effects of your condition(s) on your ability to carry them out may be similar. Sometimes the DWP refer to a previous benefit decision to help them come to a decision on a seperate claim.

Going to post my PIP form off tomorrow two questions

Is it worth sending it registered ?

If my claim fails or succeeds will I be able to find out what points I have been awarded for each activity ?

So nervous , thank you

Providing you can afford the cost the I would recommend your sending it by a tracked post that way you will have proof of delivery if there are any issues.

The Decisions Makers letter, sent whether you are successful or not, will have the points you scored,

Best of luck

I would also keep a copy of your completed form.
