DLA/PIP LETTERS RECIEVED.....SO CONFUSED!!!!!!!!

I applied at the end of august, took the full 4 weeks to fill in the form, phoned yesterday and the decision letter was sent on the 3rd Dec. I will post the outcome when the missing letter arrives, It must be tangled in the Christmas post..

I received my assessment appointment 7 weeks after sending my form back, and the appointment was for ten days later. I then waited just over two weeks for my decision letter. So about 11 weeks for me from sending my form back - and about 16 weeks from my initial phone call to DWP. I'm in the northeast of England.

Today I recieved my pip medical appointment the letter was dated 31/12/15 the appointment is to be held Wednesday ( 20th ) giving me 5 days notice, they want me to attend my medical in the CENTRE of a busy city with lack of parking and on the 5th floor I can't use my blue badge because that expired on the 10th along with my DLA claim and I can't walk more than a few meters, I asked capita to do my Assesment in my home because I'm bedbound 90% of the time which was backed up by a doctors and a consultants letter. These letters also state I suffer from anxiety attacks having to go to unfamiliar places. A few days ago I rang pip to ask for a letter to be sent confirming I was still receiving DLA until my pip was decided on in order for me to extend my blue badge at this point dwp looked at my records and told me that there was nothing on my notes regarding my capita Assesment date and therefore it would be a while longer so if dwp were telling the truth I suspect that capita are backdating their letters as there's no way a first class letter takes 15 days to get to me.
I'm going to ring capita tomorrow to see why they're disregarding my wish for a home visit and doctors letters I couldn't call today because when I saw it was in 5 days I went into a full anxiety attack having to be calmed down and physically sick as I need to be eased into unknown things.
I want them to come to my home so the can assess me where I'm more comfortable and have what I need they can also see for themselves the equipment I rely on. My questions are has anyone else had these short notice appointments? And what's the best way to speak to capita tomorrow to get them to do it in my home? Oh I should just mention that the Assesment appointment is a 86 mile round trip which I physically can't do because of my back I actually wait longer for appointments at my nearest hospital over a hospital 30 miles away because I can't manage it so what makes capita so special! so upset and annoyed.

Gordon, both the letters from my doctor and consultant are very strongly worded and even I wrote a letter in support of my application and my last paragraph said.... " if you deem it necessary to give me a medical I request that it is done in my home for the reason explained in my letter and that it is done my a female doctor also for reasons previously explained and if that is not possible please be aware that this will cause me a lot of pain and anxiety which will impact on my mental health"
If I have to go back to my doctor to get a letter stating I need a home visit specifically I won't get it in time before the medical.
I can only ring them tomorrow and see I can't even drive 20 miles without pain and upset let alone 86 miles I haven't seen my family for 2 years because I can't drive the distance. Gordon do you think capita will take into consideration that I previously won a tribunal and they stated I should never have had for it to get to that stage? I didn't even have to attend the tribunal last time with atos doing my Assesment I just got a call saying don't bother coming to court as I had more than enough points for my benefit award.
