So I was awarded PIP last year on a renewal, very shortly afterwards (around a month) I was told I needed to reapply, which turned out to be an administrative error.
However, my employer has now received a form to complete about my disabilities and the support I need in work.
Is this a new tactic? Have others experienced the same.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Natalie,
I have merged your query with the previous topic about your PIP. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one place - and I hope you will find it useful too
This is the first time I have heard of ATOS contacting a claimant's employer for information - and I do not believe they have the authority to do so. I am sure Gordon will comment about this in due course.

It wasnt from ATOS, it was directly from DWP.

I can't think of any reason why the DWP would contact your employer in regard to your PIP claim, especially after having made a Decision to award.
I would ask your HR department what it is about.

Its a small office, and my boss showed me the letter. It was a number of questions;
how long have I worked there
What hours do I work
do I work with others or work alone
what support do others give me to carry out my role
do they know of my disabilities
What aids and adaptations do I use to carry out my role
Do I need to stand for long periods
How far do I have to walk a day
how long have I worked there
What hours do I work
do I work with others or work alone
what support do others give me to carry out my role
do they know of my disabilities
What aids and adaptations do I use to carry out my role
Do I need to stand for long periods
How far do I have to walk a day

Were the DWP aware that you are working when you made you claim for PIP? It's not a requirement for the claimant to tell them, but the letter suggest that they are investigating how you manage at work with your stated limitations.
