PIP early renewal ?

I received a letter in January 2016 saying my PIP would be paid until June 2017. Last week I received the renewal form for PIP, it has to be completed and back with them by 2nd July. How many others have had a renewal notice 12 months early? Is this now the Normal procedure.

Yes, I'm afraid that DWP are starting the reassessment process for PIP a full year before the claim is due to end The new decision will come into effect straight away, not when the claim is due to end.

Don't forget that the assessor will probably have no knowledge of your or whether you are already in receipt of PIP. The form should be completed in detail and all supporting documentation submitted. Don't forget to make good use of our PIP guide

My PiP assessment is tomorrow with ATOS and its being held at our local Hospital, is this usual?
