My questions is,
Am I better just to request for MR on Living needs as I noticed the have missed a couple of area,s. Eg aid and help with medication.
Or
Does it not matter, and I should request MR for living and mobility.
Thanks

I'm sorry that the award was not what you believe it should be

The MR process is explained in the PIP guide.

I am still awaiting a copy of my assessment from ATOS, so chased yesterday with DWP and registered my MR with a letter to follow once I had received a copy of the assessment. Feeling very nervous about this now. They warned me I could loose what I have been given if reviewed. Are there any statistics on people loosing or reducing benefits at MR stage?
I had been receiving 50% car tax reduction on our car and both DWP and DVLA tax dept confirmed as long as I go for a MR and appeal I can keep the reduction in place but if I am refused a 2nd time then I must re tax at this point. After contacting local authority I can keep my blue badge, bus pass and after reading terms and conditions for disabled rail card and discounted cinema card, I can keep these also. All this has given me some peace of mind.
It's such a delema whether to go to appeal or be grateful for at least receiving something.

There are no statistics for rewards being removed during the MR, it does happen, we have seen it on the forum but not recently.
Have the DVLA confirmed this in writing, if not I would be very nervous of relying on a call centre operator telling you this, my impression from the legislation is that you are either entitled to the reduction of you are not, I very much doubt it says anything about a "second refusal"!

When I spoke to DWP I registered my intention for MR yesterday and said I would write a letter once I received a copy of the assessment. They said I had 28 days from yesterday to submit any new medical evidence and letter stating why I am challenging.
Today I received a text saying......
We've received your request to look at our recent independence payment decision again. You don't need to contact us as we're looking at this now.
Does this mean I will not have the opportunity to forward any letters and new evidence?
Thanks

They have taken your "intent to" as a request for an MR, they should give you 28 days to submit further information but be aware that this includes postage time and how long it takes to get through their internal mail system.
