This is the first time I have been on the forum so my apologies if I'm writing in the wrong place. I have got my face to face assessment medical today, they are coming to my home. I also didn't request a home visit but I'm so glad they are coming here rather than me struggle to go to them. I'm literally terrified to be honest & it's so wrong that I should be. I have multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, another muscle wasting condition & heart disease, I have had a heart attack. I'm 52. I have been on highest rate DLA for 13 years. I have sent in so many letters of support from my GP, Neurologist, occupational therapist, neurological psychologist who has been helping me with memory & cognitive problems for over a year & yet still they need more "evidence" that I truly am disabled. I was a special needs teacher for many years, where is the kindness & compassion gone these days for poorly people. I could just sit & cry today as I feel like a criminal. My mind is a complete blank, I literally feel frozen with fear.
I will let you know how it goes.
Kindest regards
