Yes it will be HAAS/Maximus

As long as you can afford it, then we recommend sending it by Recorded.

So, been waiting since July but mum had a letter today saying she's been moved to the support group and she wasn't thankfully called for a medical. Huge relief to be out of the wrag

As she was previously (incorrectly ) put in the work related group.

my question is how long is she in this group for the letter only says she's in it and the figures they gave are valid until november (is this because the new capped benefits thingy comes in?)

As no medical I am so worried about ringing up and asking for her (can they decide to call her for one? she really not well. also if I ask for a copy of the decision will this alert them to review her again. Sorry to sound paranoid but we have been through this awful process.

Hi dizzy, thanks for letting us know that your mum has now been allocated to the Support Group without a medical. That is very good news!

ESA is an indefinite award but DWP usually put set a reassessment date, this will be on the computer records as the 'prognosis'. For a claimant in the Support Group, this would be up to 3 years away in normal circumstances.

You can find out the prognosis by phoning DWP and asking. Doing so does not carry any risk. You can also request a copy of the assessor's report if you wish, it will be an ESA85a as your mum did not have a face2face assessment.
