Hi Gordon,

thanks for your reply.

its not just the meds I take that cause me dizzy spells and nausea etc.

its chronic fatigue due to chronic intractable pain in cervical & lumbar spinal regions.

also fibromyalgia, and last but not least chronic depression

I have filled in the PIP renewal form in, the same as the original pip form. but only with relevant changes of worsening conditions.

supporting gp's letters to assist my claim.

so the evidence is the same, except an update from my gp stating my illnesses etc has worsened.

so as you can see theres more to it just than dizzy spells. yes I did try to explain to the assessor the best I possible could.

so yes due to chronic intractable pain, I'm left chronical fatigued. and what with the depression, I would give up even trying to attempt to prep and or cook food. as the pain fatigue depression causes me to give up. and I have no control over that.

and yes I have cut mself, scolded myself, and fell asleep whilst cooking in the past many years ago.

but now my conditions worsened and yet I'm miracously recovered and able to comply with these descriptors.

and not to forget the depression zaps my motivation too.

this I explained to the assessor. but to no prevail.

the assessor was adamant that I can use my stairs only once in every 36 hours.. means I have motivation and mobility to prepare and cook a meal.

But honestly I don't know which meds cause me to be dizzy etc.

the assessor states in the report, that I can manage my meds and therapies/ treatments, with no aid or support. because I know the names of my medicines, and I know why I need to take them for?

therefore mrfibro scores 0 points ?

and as I can take my meds on my own without difficulty mr fibro has good motivation to be able to prepare and cook food.?

i'm obviously going for a MR as soon as I can get the motivation to get my head round this report lol

And undoubtedly i'll be going back to the tribunal services again, at some stage of the game.

I wonder will the DM who will soon be dealing with my MR stay firm to his / her recent PIP renewal decision. and still score me 0 points, on the grounds that Mrfibro had the motivation to request in writing a MR. therefore he has good upper bodily function to make this request.

Therefore he can prep and cook lol ...0 points :)

Can you just confirm from your latest post.

You only completed the PIP2 with the changes since your last assessment?

If this is the case then this is most likely the reason why your reassessment was unsuccessful!

There is no legal requirement for the those assessing you to refer to any past assessment or documentation and in practice they rarely do.

Hi Gordon thanks for your reply,

I completed a PIP 1 form in 2014, then a few months back I was sent......we are looking at your award again form.

This form was the same form as the original PIP1 form. it was about 40 pages.

This I filled out sent of to capita, then later on I had my assessment.

which according to the assessor was a review, which was 18 months earlier than the awards end date, which should had been in 2017.

So I anticipated it was the same claim - except they decided to bring it 18 months forward than normal schedule.

Albeit the reassessment or renewal was conducted and looked upon as though I had just claimed for PIP for the first time. and this was my first assessment for PIP.

And the assessor said i'd still get paid both my enhanced awards of existing PIP until the DM's makes his/hers decision.

hence I now get enhanced mobility + stripped of my daily living care component. the daily care is more important to me, than the mobility, as I receive daily care and the incurring expenses are greater for me to pay out than mobility.

hope that makes sense

ps Gordon,

the only changes made to my pip reassessment, was that my GP supplied me an update support letter. for me to use as evidence for my pip renewal /re-assessment.

indicating my health has deteriorated

Forgive me but I am not sure that you answered my question.

Did you complete the latest PIP2 (not PIP1) in detail or only based on the changes since the last one you filled in?

HI GORDON,

Sorry but i'm misunderstanding the difference between a PIP 1 and a PIP 2?
