Seems 10 it is then Gordon! ..she said optimistically lol
I think I have done all I can, going to post it off and stop thinking about it
Unless of course my old DLA bundle when it comes throws up any gems of med reports.
I can always forward them to tribunal later.. can't I ?

Thanks for all your help

You can submit whatever evidence you think is relevant to the appeal but be aware, the DLA criteria, even for Mobility, is different from the PIP equivalent and older evidence tends to carry less weight.

** Tribunal Win **
43 weeks ago my 17 year old indefinite DLA award ended when something went dreadfully wrong on my move across to PIP, I had somehow managed to score 0 across ALL descriptors. My car was taken back and my money stopped.I admit my failing to understand the new criteria played a part, as did the dreadful and wholly inadequate home assessment.
My MR failed and due to an error it was 3 months later that I asked for a Tribunal hearing and was granted one.
I used the time waiting for tribunal to read all I could, here and all around the net, to understand what had gone wrong and used all that insight to prepare a written submission which I sent to the court.
Saturday, 14 months after that PIP invite came through my door I got to sit in front of a panel comprised of 3 Human beings and tell my story (the dwp didn't show up)
The result - Standard care and High rate mobility awarded for 5 years.

I had submitted ONE piece of evidence- a specialists report.
and ONE written submission in which I had set out the descriptors I believed I qualified for and why. I had asked for 8 points on care and was awarded 9, I had asked for 8 points for mobility but asked them to consider if I may possibly qualify for 12 and they awarded 12.
The submission no doubt helped a lot, but more importantly they commented that
"In reaching it's decision the Tribunal placed particular reliance upon the evidence of the Appellant" (me).
To everyone still waiting just answer their questions and describe your struggles as frank and fully as you can..TELL YOUR STORY..Good luck to you all, may you get justice too!

My gratitude goes to this site, and to Gordon for his advice and patience.
Thank you Gordon!

That's terrific news, well done.

It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result, I would give them a call to make sure that they have received the Decision Notice.

Yes, I shall do that tomorrow Gordon, seems I need to make a few calls -
I have also been paying council tax all that time too when I should have been exempt.
Plus I need to get back my blue badge that expired during the long wait.
Thank you! x
