Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Ok.
How do i think my DLA to PIP face to Face assessment went today!
Well i thought it was shocking.
1 - The assessor could not pronounce my name
2 - I could hardly understand a word she was saying ( Assessor was none English)
3 – She did not seem to be listening to my replies to her questions (she was too busy typing away)
4 – Is the assessor supposed to have my PIP2 form so she can read it? Because all she had was a bit of paper with some writing on
5 – She had no idea i was partially deaf in both ears (i get my hearing aids tomorrow) I had to explain to the assessor ii was partially deaf in both ears
6 – At one point i was in tears when explaining how my wife has to just about do everything for me and i said i feel absolutely useless when my wife does this for me and the assessor after i said i feel absolutely useless said YES you are probably right. I though how dare you say that
7 – On a plus point she did not give me a movement examination.

Sorry, it was not what you hoped for.
The assessor has an electronic copy of your ESA50 but I would not expect them to refer to it during the assessment, they have a script that they run through to collect a standard set of information.

The assessor did not even ask to see what medication i was on
and The assessor did not even ask me how my problems impacted me on my day to day living

I have given up trying to second guess the assessment, we have seen the worst result in the highest award and the best result in none at all.
You should be able to request a copy of the report at the end of the week by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim.

Yes i will do Gordon.
Best thing is even though i cannot use it. I have hes saying yes your right to me saying i feel absolutely useless on recording (which i did on my phone in my bag). I know i cannot use this as proof.
