If you don't have the necessary NI Contributions then that is it, you already have a UC claim so that already covers your other options.

You do have what is called a Credits Only claim for NS ESA which is likely why you have received the message in your UC Journal.

You can apply for an advance payment of your UC but is repayable once your UC does go into payment.
