PIP Review form arrived was created by j112009
Hello, My B/F has recieved his PIP review form PIP 1043 which has to be back by 18th Nvember. He only founf it yesterday as he was ill and had to stay here for afew days. This is causing enoremous panic ( have MH problems as well) for me to deal with. He was awaarded enhanced daily living and mobitlity in 2017 for Fibromyalgia and mental health problems.
We are not hopeful of getting any supplementery evidence as his GP has changed a few times and she is hopeless. We may be able to get a copy of his last psychiatric outpatient visit.
Is it possible to get an extension to the return date for this form PIP 1043 by ringing and asking for one? Please advise. Thankyou

Is the PIP1043 a new form? I can only see info about the AR1 form in the guides. Do you have any information available advising the best way to complete the PIP1043 form? I will be trying to do this myself and have always used your guides in the past. We have no CAB here and have had a bad experience using a different platform to Benefits and Work.
Would the guide to AR1 form be appropriate or is advice re completing the PIP1043 very different?
Please advise. Thank you.

The PIP1043 form is the AR1 form, for some reason the DWP refer to their forms as the PIP2 and AR1 but then print a totally different number on the form.

Have got an extension over the phone now to be back by 2/12/2019 I hope this can bbe trusted as I can't get it back in just over a week.
Please could you tell me have there been any changes to the daily activities points system or the Mobility points sytem since June 2017? What i mean is are the points awarded scored differenty now than in 2017?
Am findinf all of this very hard to deal with as have MH probs myself and BF leaves me to deal with his claim as he can't cope. Any help or pointers appreciated. Thank you.

Hi j112009

The first question I would ask is did you keep a copy of your 2017 application form, if you did then if there is no change use the same information, if disabilities have got or or better then explain, if you have new supporting documents then add these to your re-newal form including any recent medication lists.

You also want to check our updated 'Members Only Guide' www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip against your 2017 application.
