Yes, even if there has been no change we still advise providing information on the limitations that the claimant has on the reassessment form.

Hello Gordon, So I put "no change" in the first box (tell us about any changes etc) then what problems he has in the second box down and if aids are used. Then in the third box say what help he needs with the activity? He may need a little more help on the ones that haven't really changed that much.
I think I was under the wrong impression as I thought because overall his conditions had got worse that I had to keep saying it over again for all 12 activities whether the worsened condition had affected the individual activity or not. I thought it was a case of either No change for all or a achange for all. I'm getting confused . Olease advise and thanks for your patience.

So what I would do is;

For the first question, I would reply either "no change" or "worse/better" because x has changed.

For the second, explain how he is limited now, highlighting how this has changed where applicable.

For the third question highlight any help that he needs from an aid or another person and in the case of the latter, what sort of help.

Hello Gordon,
I have a question about question 12 Moving around. My B/F scored 12 on his claim for this as they put he could move more than 1 metre but no more than 20. At the time on the PIP form I put on one day he could walk 50 metres and 6 days 20 metres which was correct at the time. His condition has slowly got worse over the last 2/half years and now he can only manage 20 metres before he has to stop on about 4 days a week on a good week and the rest of the week he is to unwell from the exertion and has to rest to recover. The AR1 from says Less than 20 metres or between 20 and 50 metres.....so does that mean I should put less than 20 metres because he wouldn't now be able to walk 50 metres before he had to stop for sure.

Also have a question about the motability scheme question that asks if you are eligible to join the scheme would we like them to send us information about the help they can offer and that they would'nt share his persoonal details with Motability YES or NO. Call me cynical but is this a trick question Do DWP keep tabs on whether you use motability to see if you are as ill as you are. He can't drive a car and would't be safe to do so because of his meds and mental health and also would'nt be safe on a mobility schooter for the same reasons unless I walked everywhere with him at the same time. A powered wheelchair may be of help but as of now he has nowhere to store one. Will it be held against him if we put we don't want info about Motability. Sorry for long post. Please advise. Thankyou.

Yes, I would put 20m or less, remember the test is the distance that he can reliably walk on the majority of days.

The question about Motability is not a trick one, if you choose to join the scheme then the DWP will being paying the Mobility component directly to Motability, so it is not a question of them keeping tabs.
