Another week gone by since I last sent them a message on journal and again no reply!
Looks like I will need to put in complaint as that is now four messages not replied to and three weeks since they last did! :

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi smc,
I myself hate ignorance - some of my emails I've sent to my local authority have taken 11/12 weeks to get a response. It's just absurd how unprofessional people seem to be these days, and not care. If you have tried the UC helpline and no one can help, then I would start the complaints procedure.
Chris.

It is just ridiculous in this day and age for it to take 3 months for responses. Why local authorities think it is acceptable when so many other business etc......are not allowed to take that amount of time. I haven't actually called the UC helpline, I felt journal was best place as you had written copy iykwim, plus the last 10 days or so I have been dealing with a relative being in hospital so I was not in the headspace to make a call to them. Is it worth a try?

Hi smc
Have you put a note on your journal for the attention of the case manager.

Case Manager as first person to reply to me on 17th April. On 22nd April he passed it to local Job Centre to deal with. I got reply from them on 23rd April and I sent a response back to them followed by another, got no reply to eithet so I messaged back to Case Manager on 30th April, he didn't reply. I then sent a complete new message via Payment on 6th May, no reply so far.

So I decided to phone the UC helpline.
Person I spoke to could see my messages on journal had been read by case manager but they hadn't replied to me, why they did not know.
I explained that having been in WRAG when on ESA I expected to be in LCW when moved to UC so was surprised to be put in LCWRA and was concerned I would suddenly get told down the line a mistake had been made and I would need to pay money back. He checked the health stuff and said that I had been put in LCWRA as I had answered "yes" to "do any of your health conditions restrict your ability to work or look for work"
Should I trust this response from them?
