Hi Rachel,
When you say you watched the house of lords and they did not achieve anything, do you mean that the bill went through unchanged, or that they just seemed to be taking ages and nothing was agreed or disagreed? I am hoping this site will publish it in the news section once the bill has become law. We are all waiting around for these privileged people to control our lives, it is horrible, xx

The Bill is in the Committee stage in the House of Lords, you can track its progress on this site.Hi Rachel,

Thankyou Gordon and Bro!
It is scheduled to continus tomorow, as one Lord remarked it was quite frustrating starting at 'the fag-end of the day'!
There was also time spent discussing the difficulties for some of the members being put in that particular room. It is not disability friendly.
Quite entertaining if it weren't so personal!

The choice of room was deliberate to discourage debate, especially by those liable to vote against it, members of the Lords with disabilities.
